Jarrow Roofing play in the Albany Northern League Division One and were formed for the season 1987-88 beginning to play in the South Tyne Senior league. When this league broke up at the end of their first season Roofing moved to the Tyneside Amateur League. During their time in the Amateur League they won the Bill Dixon Cup and The League Challenge Shields and were also runners up in the Gateshead Charity Shields and the The League. In the season 1991-92 they moved to the Wearside League after developing their new ground at Boldon C.A. Sports Club.at the end of that season they were promoted to Division One as Runners Up. In the season 1995-96 they were runners up in Division One and as Marske the champions did not have ground facilities in place Roofing were promoted to the Northern League Divison two. They were promoted at the end of that season to Division one as joint runners up and also won the Craven Cup at the first attempt. Since moving into Division One they have finished 13th 1997-98; 16th in 1998-99; 7th in 1999-2000; 13th in 2000-01; 2001-02 12th; 2002-03 9th; 2003-04 6th; 2004-05 13th
